Founder

Anu Hariharan is the Founder & Managing Partner of Avra. She was most recently the co-founder and Managing Director of Y Combinator's Growth fund where she worked with several hundred growth stage founders. She led YC’s growth investments in Brex, Faire, Gusto, Whatnot among others. Prior to YC, Anu was a partner at Andreessen Horowitz where she worked with the management teams of Airbnb, Instacart, Udacity among others. Prior to that she started her career as a senior software engineer at Qualcomm. Anu has an MS in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Wharton.

Nic Dardenne is a Partner focused on Investments at Avra.  Nic was previously a senior investor at Y Combinator's growth fund, leading investments in startups like Zepto, where he serves on the board, Groww, and BioRender.  He also helped turnaround Monzo to a nine-fold revenue increase post-pandemic.  Prior to YC, Nic was at Morgan Stanley. He holds a BS from the University of Southern California.

Tiffany Kosolcharoen is a Partner focused on Investments and Research at Avra.  She was previously Head of Investment Research at Y Combinator’s growth fund, building a team spanning research, software, data science, and growth, and directly leading to top investments including Deel, Zip and BioRender.  Prior, she led Meta’s market intelligence team for corporate development through emerging products.  Tiffany has a BS and MBA from MIT.

Lucas Fox

Lucas Fox is a Partner focused on Investments and Programs at Avra.  He joined Brex when it had just 10 employees and helped scale the company to over 1200 employees.  He later became the CEO of Brex’s Startup business unit comprising Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations.  Under his leadership, Brex's venture-backed market share grew from 10% to over 50% in three years, and he managed a P&L exceeding $250M ARR.
